Evans Case Supports Von Miller’s Foundation at Charity Event

Evans Case was honored to be a Silver Sponsor at Denver Bronco Von Miller’s fourth annual Celebrity Steak-Out event held at The Ritz-Carlton in Denver on Monday, November 7, 2016. This event benefited Von’s Vision, Miller’s charitable foundation, that provides low-income Denver children with the eye care and corrective eye wear they need to be their best in the classroom and in life. Proceeds from the evening will provide free screenings, eye exams and corrective eye wear to those in need. Specifically, funds raised will go toward programs like Von’s Vision Day, Von’s Back to School Vision Day and a new program launching in 2017.

“My mission is to give the gift of sight to children who don’t have access to eye care,” said Miller. “Funds raised tonight will change kids’ lives—sometimes the problem in school isn’t an intelligence problem, it’s just vision. Von’s Vision provides opportunities for kids to succeed in the classroom and in life.” The event had nearly 400 guests and raised more than $480.000 for this wonderful cause.

The evening featured other Bronco stars, including DeMarcus Ware, Demaryius Thomas, T.J. Ward, Juwan Thompson, Dekoda Watson, Russell Okung, Jordan Norwood, Kayvon Webster, Donald Stephenson, Todd Davis, Bennie Fowler III, Vontarrius Dora, Quentin Gause, Taurean Nixon and Kalif Raymond, joined Miller at his event to mix and mingle with guests to benefit his foundation.

Aaron Evans, Managing Partner at Evans Case hosted guests for a memorable evening. In addition to mingling with their favorite players, event guest enjoyed a cocktail reception, and a three course dinner of world-class cuisine, accompanied by fine wine. Mike Evans and Mark Schlereth of Sports Radio 104.4 The Fan served as the evening’s emcees, while Brian Baumhor of Pacific Coast Auctioneer served as the evening’s auctioneer during exciting live auctions.
