Aaron Evans supports Von’s vision to supply glasses to low-income Kids

To help underprivileged kids in Denver receive the eye screenings, eye exams and prescription eyewear they need, Aaron Evans attended Von Miller’s Third Annual Celebrity Steak Out on Oct. 5 at the Ritz-Carlton in Denver. Miller, linebacker for the Denver Broncos, began wearing glasses in second grade and wants kids to be able to see clearly, especially at school.

“I was the kid that had the pair of glasses for a whole year so I can definitely identify with all the kids that need glasses,” Miller said. “My mission to get glasses and frames to low-income children in Denver and helping with (their) success in the classroom. $20 will get one kid a pair of frames, so whatever money we get, we’ll be able to do a lot of great things.”

Managing partner Aaron Evans attended the silent and live auction. Miller and Broncos teammates traded in their helmets and shoulder pads for aprons and took on the role of table servers. Guests enjoyed cocktails and extraordinary cuisine, and donated more than $285,000 for the cause.
